The idea for this fundraiser started with a personal reading ritual. Every time I finished a book, I set aside $10 for charity. It was a simple way to mark the moment and give forward. That habit became our foundation.

 

This year, as I turn 35, it felt like the right moment to turn that personal practice into our first fundraiser. This campaign is structured around that idea:

• $10 to honor the habit that started it all.

• $35 to celebrate my 35th birthday and help us start this work together.

• $100 to become a founding contributor and fund a reading tablet for a child.​​​

This is the first chapter for Page One Readers. The goal is simple. Make sure more children have access to books at the very beginning of their reading journey.
